We found www.technoworld.com by mail order initially, ... ...a computer company). We tried them for a few items and were pleased with the service, prices and stock but not the delivery charges Eventually we noticed in one of the adverts that purchases made from their web site were post-free, so decided to give it a try. The site is good, easy to navigate, secure and packed full of goodies. If you are still unsure, there is a telephone number on the site, which puts you through to their technical department ... TechnoWORST! More Hassle Than They're Worth! Review of TechnoWorld by Claire_DC Advantages: 'Cheap..ish' Disadvantages: Customer Service, Inability To Deal With Orders, Unhelpful When Problems Occur, And More.. ...come in handy. I rang Technoworld to make sure the price hadn't come down in the few days it had been from my credit agreement being sent, and was told that it was the same price and that they had 27 in stock so once the relevant person had contacted me to arrange delivery, I should have it the day after. I then waited a day and a half to be contacted by Technoworld to sort out delivery of the item, but they never called. At the end of the second ... ...4 weeks later, I contacted technoworld as I had still not heard anything from them regarding my purchase. I was told that the 2nd laptop was now in stock, so we started going through the process to change my order.. 'great' I thought, we were finally getting somewhere, until they were confirming the specification with me.. only to be told that this laptop did not have a dedicated graphics card and not only did it not have a graphics card they then ... We love your money - Just not you! Review of TechnoWorld by patwanet Advantages: Cheap prices Disadvantages: Terrible Customer Service, Slow Refunds, Dier Stock Control ...I wanted to buy, and technoworld were the cheapest at just over £1200. I placed the order, which went through fine and I got the confirmation e-mail. the machine I wanted was one that seemed to be ex-manufacture for licensing reason, but there were still a few units floating around some stores. Many I had already were out of stock though, but when I failed to see any indication of this on the technoworld site I was hopeful - after all, it let me ... ...it was very possible that technoworld were at fault. they had clearly debited my card when they had said my card had not been billed. Due to the way the visa debit system works, these funds had been 'locked' on my card, and even though they did not have my money, they had as good as caused the problem by sending the request in the first place. I phoned up technoworld on Friday. My main arguement was that all i wanted was for them to cover my overdraft ... Another reason to buy online ! Review of TechnoWorld by ZiaFarhan Advantages: Best for laptops and scanners, low delivery charges, price match available, excellent customer service Disadvantages: Dull colours on the website, American express is not accepted I have used Technowrold quite a few times now, mostly, althugh, for printers, softwares and laptops as on scanners, something that we purchase quite a lot, they are normally 3rd or 4th when it comes to pricing. Having said that will recommend this company to anyone thinking of buying a laptop and those who would want superb support after months down the purchase. Price match facility is offered by the company and is some time more benefiticial to ... ...sales preson are very helpful and will point out if you are choosing some item/s that will either cause bottle necking or might not be of use, for example on our last purchased I was told that I was picking up an an expensive warranty, whilst the cheaper one was avaialble with freebies !!!! Dont Ever Buy From These Guys! Review of TechnoWorld by lesjohn Advantages: Fast Delivery, cheap Disadvantages: too many to list ...not appear. I immediately phoned Technoworld who said that they sold hundreds of different screens and were not familiar with this one and told me it really wasn't their problem and I should call Acer. I did and after over half an hour I got through! but it was difficult to understand the very soft spoken Irishman at the other end. I explained the problem and he immediately arranged to have it picked up, but 4 days later it returned with exactly ... ...a computer when testing so I phoned Technoworld, and asked if they will pick it up and give me a refund they said they couldn't but instead would call Acer and get back to me which they did. The screen was picked up a second time . After 10 days passed I called again complaining they called Acer and later I phoned and got a message saying it would be delivered the following Tuesday.
